Continued strong collaboration across the country
Torben Skovbo Hansen & Marianne Juhler
The collaboration between the two largest Danish Neurosurgical departments covering around 70% of the Danish population has been strengthened since it was first established 2½ years ago.
The purpose is to share experience in clinical, diagnostic, and surgical management particularly of complex hydrocephalus cases and to develop common clinical guidelines.
Expanded research
In parallel with their clinical collaboration, Professor Marianne Juhler (Copenhagen) and Senior Consultant Torben Skovbo Hansen (Aarhus), have expanded their research into mutual clinical series and developing experience with ICP and hydrocephalus surgical technology.
The first publication in this series was recently published.
The collaboration is directly related to the Copenhagen CSF Study Group mission of integrating clinical challenges and research.
