Alexander Lilja-Cyron visits Addenbrooke’s Hospital as honorary research fellow
Alexander Lilja-Cyron
PhD-student Alexander Lilja-Cyron is currently visiting the Brain Physics Lab of Professor Marek Czosnyka at Addenbrooke’s Hospital (Cambridge University).
Alexander is working on different projects relating to cerebral autoregulation following traumatic brain injury, as well as contributing to data collection in the lab through transcranial Doppler investigations and infusion studies. Additionally, he is involved in the COGiTATE Study, which is the first randomized clinical trial of targeting optimal cerebral perfusion pressure (CPPopt) calculated using the pressure reactivity index (PRx).
The visit further strengthens the bond established between Copenhagen and Cambridge in the 80’s and 90’s in the area of CSF dynamics.
